Industry Application

Plastic compounders and masterbatch producers are facing an acute supply challenge with antimony trioxide. China export restrictions have constrained ATO supply with lead times extending to 2.5–3 months. For compounders currently specifying ATO-65 or ATO-85 in halogenated polyolefin or PVC systems, zinc-based synergists FL-ZS, FL-ZHS, and FL-ZB represent commercially proven alternatives with the added benefit of superior smoke suppression. For halogen-free compounds in PA, PBT, and polyolefins, MPP and APP provide effective N-P based FR performance.
